Because you're reading this I know you're a parent who wants the best for your child.
You want them to thrive and succeed in whatever stage they're in right now- whether that's just starting Secondary School, in the middle of their GCSEs or in the final year of A levels.
You want to make sure they have a positive Secondary School experience- where they make good friends, discover new passions, have new experiences and leave with lifelong memories.
You also want them to develop the organisation, time-management and study skills they need for life as well as their exams.
But you don't want to sacrifice their mental health or your relationship in the process.
You don't want to add pressure or make things worse.
You don't want to give them bad advice or do the wrong thing.
You don't want to make Secondary School more difficult than it already is.
Parenting a teenager (or soon to be teenager) is challenging enough, add in friendship woes, making sure they get good grades, protecting their wellbeing, and setting them up for the future.
It can feel like an impossible challenge.
Especially as they get closer to exam years and you worry even more about their future.
But the answer to all of your Secondary School worries?
It's actually YOU!
You are uniquely positioned, you know them best, you have the most time with them, you can have the biggest impact.
Don't believe me? Think you're not capable of making a real difference?
Think again.
Parents in The Parent Pathway Community are already seeing amazing changes in their child's outcomes, their relationships with their child and even their study habits.
Why? Because your engagement in their education truly makes a difference.
Research shows that your engagement can add the equivalent of 2 months to 2 YEARS of academic progress/additional Schooling.
So let me show you HOW to make that impact.
I know you don't want to be one of the hundred of parents panicking when it comes to GCSE options, Year 10 mocks or the final exams in May - racing around trying to find tutors and resources when it's too late.
I know you want to look back on this School year and feel proud of how far your child has come and confident you've done the best for them.
The best way to do this is by joining the Parent Pathway Community.

Do any of these sound true to you?
I'm worried they won't keep up with the schoolwork
I want to help them but I don't know how
I'm concerned about the impact of School and exams on my child's mental health and don't know how to support them
I offer my child help but they don't seem to want it
My child never does revision or homework
When I try to help my child it ends in arguments or me nagging them
I need support from someone who knows what will actually work
I don't know enough about the GCSEs or Secondary School to help them and feel like I'm not doing a good enough job
I'm worried because my child is putting too much pressure on themselves- they're going to burnout, or worse
I'm worried that I'm letting my child down
I'm not getting much information from School and don't know if they're doing ok
Any conversations about School get shut down quickly
My child has a tutor but it's not making much difference
My child is unmotivated or isn't revising
My child wants to do well but something's not working
I've considered getting my child a tutor, but they need one for too many subjects
If any of these resonate with you then you're in the correct place!
When you join The Parent Pathway Community we will work together to overcome every barrier and challenge you and your child are facing so that you can become the parent you want to be.
You'll know EXACTLY how to support and motivate your child through every step of Secondary School- whilst keeping your relationship with them a top priority, so they can feel confident and be successful at School- whether they're just starting Year 7, Year 13 or anywhere in between.

Unlike other support out there, I won't give you a blueprint for the whole year at once and expect you to figure it out on your own.
By becoming a member of the Parent Pathway Community today you will receive insights every week into what your child should be doing and what they might be experiencing at this point in the School year, with small actionable steps so you and your child can move forward together week after week.
You will develop the toolkit you need to deal with any challenges they face with confidence, knowing you have my support every step of the way.
As your confidence and knowledge grows you can be sure that both you and your child are doing the right thing, at the right time, in the right way, and how to course-correct if they're not.
Conversations with your child will no longer feel like you're nagging as you work together on a shared goal using the strategies you'll learn in The Parent Pathway Community.
And on those tough days, when you're not sure if you're saying or doing the right thing, when you can't seem to get through to them or when they've come home with a disappointing result you'll have the rest of the community to support YOU - so that you can be the BEST parent you can for your child.

Hi, I'm Hazel
I have over twelve years of experience as a Secondary School Science teacher where I have supported hundreds of students and their families through their exams.
In this time I have achieved a Masters in Education, been a KS4/GCSE Co-ordinator and an examiner for AQA. All of which has developed my teaching and ability to support students and parents both in and out of the classroom.
I can also draw on my own personal experiences as a student. I was one of those students who was naturally academic, up until Year 9. I then started to find everything much more challenging and had to work incredibly hard to keep up. In this time I honed my revision and exam technique and now share with my students the revision methods I adapted, allowing me to achieve all A and B grades at GCSE and A Level, as well as a First Class Degree in Biology.
Beyond my skills as a teacher I also pride myself on supporting students beyond exam success and have supported many students with big decisions, including what A Levels to take, which careers to pursue and which Universities to attend.
Now I have identified a gap between what we do in School and what Parents and Teens are supported to achieve outside of School, and so I am using my expertise to try to bridge this gap and support as many families as possible.
My mission is to support parents to support students to become successful independent learners. By showing students how to study and revise independently they are much better prepared for the future, allowing them to be more successful, resilient and confident when it comes to their future- in their exams and beyond!
